For people with diabetes mellitus pure sugar and food ingredients  treated  with pure sugar, like white sugar, brown sugar, honey, syrup, and other sweet foods are included in the  type of  foods  to avoid  for blood sugar always under control.
Thanks to technological developments  in food  production is now the diabetes can enjoy sweets without worrying about the calorie content  ie with artificial sweeteners. For processed foods, for example, the maximum dose for cyclamate is 2 ppm, whereas for saccharin 0.15 ppm. For drinks, cyclamate dose allowed is 0.06 ppm and 0.005 ppm saccharin.
